Relativity Space sells Terran R launch services to commercial, civil, and national-security customers, including missions to orbit and deep space.
Relativity Space is a US launch company (Eric Schmidt in control and CEO since March 2025) building Terran R, a medium-to-heavy partially reusable rocket (23,500kg to LEO class) targeting a first launch in late 2026, after its Terran 1 flew once (failed orbit) and was retired for the R pivot. Its credibility event was admission to NSSL Phase 3 Lane 1 (July 2026), joining the pre-qualified national-security launch pool alongside SpaceX, ULA, and Blue Origin, on a 3D-printing-first manufacturing thesis. It is pre-revenue at launch level ($1.3B raised through 2021).
