Positioning

Roboteam makes unmanned ground vehicles and supplies the mobility platform in a division of labour where Elbit Systems supplies the autonomy and command and control. The joint products are the 4x4 PROBOT, a 435 kg wheeled and optionally tracked UGV carrying 750 kg at 12 km/h, and the ROOK, a 6x6 introduced 2021-11-16 weighing 1,200 kg and carrying 1,200 kg of payload, up to eight drive hours from a hybrid battery, 30 km/h top speed, and full UGV Interoperability Profile compliance for plug-and-play payloads. Both run the Elbit TORCH-X Robotic and Autonomous application, letting a single operator control several unmanned systems. PROBOT has been fielded in the United States, France, Israel and the United Kingdom, and the UK Ministry of Defence acquired four Torch-Powered Probots for its Remote Patrol Vehicle Experimentation Programme. The problem for the record is silence: nothing dated for Roboteam was found for 2025 or 2026, during a period when the UGV market has been transformed by Ukraine. A platform vendor absent from that expansion is either quietly supplying under wraps or being outpaced. Revisit trigger: any dated 2026 contract, a confirmed current Elbit shareholding, or a Ukraine or NATO order.
