Critical Point (临界点) was established on 2026-01-14 as the spun-out dexterous hand business of Agibot (Zhiyuan Robotics), which holds 80 percent after contributing RMB 4 million at establishment. Within five months it had raised four rounds, crossed a USD 1 billion post-money valuation on 2026-06-24, delivered over 8,000 OmniHand units and over 10,000 grippers, ranked first in the Chinese dexterous hand market by shipments in Q1 2026, and turned operationally net profitable in Q1 2026, its first full quarter. Founder Xiong Kun graduated from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology Robotics Institute, participated in the founding of Tencent Robotics X, worked at IDEA Research and Inovance, and joined Agibot in 2024 to lead the dexterous hand business. The flagship OmniHand 3 Ultra-M, launched at ICRA 2026 on 2026-06-02 as the fourth product in under five months, fits 20 active degrees of freedom into 189.5 by 88.5 by 40 millimetres at 630 grams using full direct drive, and the sensing is the differentiator: a miniature visuotactile sensor in each fingertip plus over 300 three-dimensional tactile sensing points across the palm, single-sensor force resolution around 0.005 N, spatial resolution around 0.04 millimetres and sensing density of 50,000 per square centimetre. The 8,000-unit installed base is what separates it from Yuansheng, also in this batch, which discloses none. The reservation is that most detail is company-sourced, no end customer is named, and the 80 p

Tesollo is a South Korean maker of dexterous robotic hands (the 20-DoF DG-5F-M flagship and the lower-cost DG-5F-S with in-house actuators), on a gripper revenue base since 2019. It initiated an IPO process in July 2026, which would be the first pure-play hands listing, and integrated XELA uSkin tactile sensing shown at CES 2026, with demos at ICRA 2026. Revenue, the IPO venue and timing, and humanoid OEM design wins are open; its own coverage notes no hand maker is near a certified 10,000-hour mean-time-between-repairs.
