The Communications Solutions Group generated USD 1.345 billion, 73 percent of company revenue, and Commercial Communications passed USD 1 billion in a quarter for the first time, with wireline exceeding wireless for the first time and wireline orders more than doubling. The mechanism is test intensity: as data rates rise and latency falls, design margins shrink to where customers must test in production, moving the mix toward two-thirds R&D and one-third manufacturing. The portfolio spans 224G electrical lanes, 1.6T Ethernet, optical interconnects, UALink, PCIe, CXL, Ultra Ethernet, silicon photonics and workload-level AI fabric emulation, with AresONE 1600GE emulating large AI clusters and the KAI architecture extending validation to full data-center behaviour. 800G remains the base while 1.6T scales and customers are engaging on 3.2T.
